The Saturday Soccer Club is a starting place for boys; girls and parents wishing to become involved and learn the game of football.
The Saturday Soccer Club operates every week and is open to any ability from 5 to 12 years of age. The sessions operate on a simple pay and play "casual" basis.
The aims are to:
The Individual
- Develop each player through one-on-one and team games;
- Promote sportsmanship, fun and fitness in a non-competitive enviroment;
- Direct players - if interested and ready - to become a member of a Junior Reds team for their age group;
The Club
- Use the Saturday Soccer Club as a basis for the Junior Reds to grow by forming new teams in the Under 7; Under 8; Under 9; Under 10 and the other age group if sufficient interest exists;
- Give new volunteers wishing to become Managers an opportunity to Coach under supervision.
Our sessions are led by Football Association qualified coaches - all are first aid qualified and CRB checked.
We operate two sessions each Saturday morning. These are 9.30am to 10.30am for ages 5-7, and 10.30am to 11.30am for ages 8-12. Sessions are £4.00 to cover the hire and equipment costs each week.
If you are interested then simply come along any Saturday to the playing field at Bexleyheath School using the entrance in Woolwich Road, or preferably the entrance at the far end of the car park at GOALS Soccer Centre, Graham Road (behind the ASDA supermarket). The postal code for Bexleyheath School is DA7 4HU.
